A dream come true

The day the real possibility of matching what one really wants in life with one's source of sustenance arises, we will have achieved a pleasant and lasting fulfilment. The boundary between duty and pleasure will then be blurred, evanescent, null. This is what happened to us.
Living in the countryside and being able to derive one's livelihood from it is a bug that has been with us since adolescence.
Geanide is a small farm, covering about six hectares. It is a centuries-old olive grove typical of the Salento countryside, with ample planting that allows the cultivation of vegetables and medicinal herbs in the extensive inter-rows.
 

Situated about four kilometres from the coast, it enjoys a microclimate influenced by the sea, resulting in mild winters and cooler summers than the already mild Salento hinterland. This results in an earlier ripening of the various cultivated species and vegetation that lasts until late autumn. Our vegetables are harvested and processed in the farm's processing workshop with a modern and complete equipment.
